"Perfect location"Posted: Mon, Nov 23 2009Value:
3As budget travellers, we couldn't ask for more. This hotel was smack in the middle of the pedestrian area of Nice, where there are lots of good restaurants and shops. The area was very safe --the hotel's entrance is between the Louis Vuitton and Gorgio Armani stores, and across from Gladys Falk! The hotel itself was also very safe -- the door gets locked with a security pad entrance for guests after 9 pm. The boardwalk and beach are literally just across the street from the hotel, which made it very easy to hit the beach for the day without having to carry an armload of supplies. The rooms were clean, and the bathroom (ensuite) was clean and big. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel's sister hotel, Hotel Meyerbeer, is about a 10 minute walk away, and offers free internet for its guests, as well as for the Hotel Paradis guests. There is also a small supermarket and a laundromat about a 5 minute walk away. The train station is about a 15-20 minute walk away, which was definitely manageable. The perfect location!
