Hotel Ellington - Nice, France 

"Value for money!"

My wife and I found this hotel to be excellent value for money. For ?46 we got a clean room, a sparkling bathroom and two much better than average continental buffet breakfasts with jugs of hot cafe au lait served by the staff. It was certainly much better value than the usual French basic hotel and the staff were more pleasant and helpful than in some hotels where we have paid ?300 a night.

The welcome from the receptionist at the time impacted on my overall impression and rating of the hotel. A smile and friendliness goes a long way!I got a good deal for this hotel on the internet but would not have paid any more for it. Cleanliness of rooms were a highlight.

Very disappointed by the cleanliness and size of the rooms. The hotel looks nice only on the pictures ! I found it expensive for the quality provided. Nice public areas and bar however.

The hotel is very well located, in the centre of town. The staff is very willing to help but rooms are too small.I reserved a double deluxe, it was quite nice a little noisy and too small.Probably, a more expensive room should be better.
