Hotel Reykjavik Centrum - Reykjavik, Iceland 

Centrum is excellently located, close to everything we wanted to see in the city. Staff were extremely helpful, particularly reception. Breakfast offered ample selection of hot and cold food, with good quality and service. Rooms were compact but furnished to a very high standard, and extremely clean. We would certainly stay at the Centrum again. We ate out in the evening. Recommend Geyser Bistro (behind tourist information office), Cafe Victor and Cafe Paris - all within a coupe of minutes walk from the Centrum. We had lovely warm sunny weather, and would recommend Iceland for a short break in the summer. Worth bringing an eye mask, as it is light all night in summer! The South Shore excursion was well worth taking. And we found it no more expensive than the UK.

Stayed here on two seperate occassions during the same trip and had different rooms both times, both were fantastic, clean, neat and relly cosily decorated - nice to go back to when its cold out - which I imagine is always. We only used the bar once and it was packed, it seemed, with locals as well as guests which is always a good sign. In all a great central (ish) location to explore Reykjavik and Iceland as a whole.
