Chateau De Perreux details: Welcome to a beautiful Château d'hôtes (Bed and Breakfast in a private castle), conveniently located in the heart of the beautiful Loire Valley.
Only 2 km from Amboise and 1 hour by TGV (high speed train) from Paris, the 18th century troglodyte castle features a 5-hectare enclosed park, lovely river and historically listed aquarium which is carved into the cliff face. The Bed & Breakfast also features an outdoor swimming pool and other wonderful facilities.
The Bed & Breakfast is owned by an English and French speaking couple who aim at providing their guests with a memorable holiday experience in luxurious surroundings.

Château de Perreux is a private residence which was awarded 4 stars for excellence as a top class Bed & Breakfast by Tripadvisor. The private Château d'hôtes welcomes an international clientele, children of all ages, and the owners are happy to cater special dietary requirements on request.
The Bed and Breakfast does not offer room service but the owners are delighted to assist with restaurant reservations and advice on activities whenever they can.
Château De Perreux offers drinks from the bar that you can enjoy on the lawns, in the Grand Salon or Salon Rouge where a huge flat-screen DVD can be used to entertain children with the many DVDs available free of charge.
Pets are not accepted and the B & B is entirely non-smoking. The elegant suites are all on the second level, and are accessible by stairs. There is no lift.

The rooms are tastefully furnished with a mixture of antiques and art from the 18th and 19th centuries. All rooms are either on the 1st or 2nd floor of the castle and feature en-suite bathrooms and beautiful views. There is no lift in the castle. The quiet and luxurious rooms can be enjoyed by honeymooners and those looking for a truly delightful experience in a relaxing and sophisticated environment.All prices are for 2 people sharing a room. Children from 2 to 15 are charged EUR 25 and guests aged 16 and over EUR 50. If you require a cot for your baby, you will be charged EUR 20.

The 2008 New Years Eve party includes a 6-course fish and meat menu with wine and 6-dish buffet lunch. Music will play in the ballroom all night. Please contact the Château d'Hôtes for the menu and further information. The 2008 New Years Eve party prices have been added to the room rate. This exclusive evening is for 25 people only and requires a minimum stay of 2 days.The Château d'Hôtes’ dining room has been compared to that of the Ritz, the Meurice, and some of the other elegant and famous dining rooms in France.
The B & B offers a typical French continental breakfast with freshly baked croissant and toasts, fresh orange, apple or grapefruit juice, yogurt, coffee and many different kinds of teas. The continental breakfast is included in the room rate.
There is no dinner available on site but if you have any special dietary requirements for breakfast, please inform the owners before your arrival.
