Acapulco - Montpellier, France     

This hotel is totally overpriced. It has a very good location as it is close to the city centre and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the tram. The sheets on the bed were very clean, but the towels in the bathroom weren't. There were still smudges on them so not washed hot enough and they are really thin because they have probably been used for years and years. The bedroom as horrible. It was on the 2nd floor with no lift and the bed was stuck to one wall and only had room on the other side for a bedside table. There was airconditioniing available, but no remote control and it turned out that you had to pay another 3 euro's to have it activated!! How cheap. The toilet was not cleaned properly and the shower curtain was filthy. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good, but sleeping there was not enjoyable. This is not a 2 start hotel, but a good 1 star and I do not expect to pay such a high price, for such a bad room.

Après avoir découvert que l’hôtel Abasun (près de la gare) avait donné notre chambre à quelqu’un d’autre (réservation faite avec une carte de crédit), nous avons sauté dans un taxi et nous sommes allés à l’Acapulco (car c’était le seul nom dont je me souvenais). Il était plus de minuit et l’hôtel était officiellement fermé pour la nuit, mais la charmante jeune femme qui se trouvait à la réception nous a trouvé une chambre, un studio qui donnait sur la cour, calme, paisible et propre , avec un accueil très chaleureux et à 15 minutes de marche du centre ville. J’ai bien l’intention de revenir ici et je ne remettrai JAMAIS les pieds à l’Abasun (en particulier si vous arrivez tard en TGV à Montpellier un samedi soir !
