didn;t stay at the hotel, but went to the restaurant for lunch. it was excellent: comfortable, relaxed, superb cooking. the service was discreet but very friendly and very well -timed indeed. we had a leisurely meal, which was outstanding value for money. the hotel looks like a fairly typical town-centre establishment, but the restaurant is well known to french people and was recommended to us by a professional french chef. so it's good! try it!
