I read the reviews for this Hotel and it had mixed reviews. I thought we would try it, because it was close to everything. I booked two nights. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. But once we got to our room it was awful, located on the 4th floor with a balcony. The room was dirty, it smelled really bad. The sliding door to the balcony did not shut correctly or locked. The door for our room looked like someone kicked it in, it was missing a chain. The carpet was stained, burnt marks in several areas and it smelled really bad. The walls were stained. The bathroom was awful, when we turned on the water it was brown. The sink was ready to fall from the wall and there was hair everywhere.
Eventually, a few hours later we left and went to another hotel The General Manager was very helpful, he offered us another room, but we did not accept. We just had to pay for one day. If the Hotel is not welling to update their rooms. I would suggest that they re-train their maintenance crew to fix things correctly in the rooms and the cleaning crew .
I would also recommend this place for college students on spring break, because the hotel rates are so reasonable and it is across the street from the beach.
Again, I would like to stress that the Front Desk Staff and the General Manager were very friendly and understanding.
They need to repair and/or update their hotel.

Stayed at the Beachclub in June 08had a ball, she's not the Hilton for sure but it is next door to it.
I think the rooms were last decorated in the Miami vice era and are still original, beds were comfy and towels were clean.
Great location across the road from the beach, close to Hooters and Lulu's bar.
Great food at the bar and very cheap, nice pool, extremely helpfull hostess who went beyond what is the norm in service and should be commended.
You get what you pay for ,we were on a budget so it footed the bill nicely, give it a go you'll be surprised.
