Hotel Afitel - Chambray-les-Tours, France 

We don't know how Logis rated this with 2 chimneys - and have written complaint to them. It was one of those places where when you pulled into the carpark you knew you had definitely made the wrong thing making a reservation with the hotel. Hotel was very shabby looking from outside, and the private car park was very open and caused us great concern at leaving the car parked their overnight. We declined the first room we were given, the second was not much better - bedding stained and towels dirty. Not even a shower curtain or the usual Logis toiletries. The whole hotel could desperately do with redecoration and a good clean. Very limited menu - salads or burger type meals. We decided to give this a miss, breakfast was OK with usual selection of breads, cheese and yoghurts. Although it is a budget priced hotel we would definitely not recommend it to anyone.
