Hotel Roses Trianon - Biarritz, France 

Hello, After reading other reviews I decided this place in Biarritz was going to be ok. Well it wasn't. It was a horrible little hovel. Please do yourself a favour and do not stay here. The owner even ripped us off (which we will never be able to reclaim). We booked through Veneer and then he emailed saying it would be more. We wrote and heard back from Veneer saying he couldn't do that and our booking was gauranteed but guess what....on the day we checked out he charged us more! Choosing to speak English when it suited him...I am sorry but that is the point of putting your hotel on last minute bookings - the customer gets a bargin - not you!!! Anyway please do not bother with this place. Biarritz itself is lovely and you will enjoy it but do it without the same experience as us and AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

This hotel was absolutely brilliant and exactly what we were looking for. My friend and I (Both 19) went there for a bit of culture, sun and nightlife and this place was in a brilliant location- right by the beach! The two people who run it were fantastic, so hospitable and always had a smile on their faces no matter what time of day it was, think their names were remy and claudia. They will help you with anything, one night we asked where the good nightclubs are and they even gave us free tickets to one! Rooms are basic but clean, they are more than expected of a 2 star, they are very like a bed and breakfast room. Only problem was the toilet door was very flimsy, quite embarassing on occasions but that didnt let the holiday down. Would definately go there again
