We used this hotel post-cruise for one night following our Costa Fortuna trip. The weather was unseasonably bitterly cold which made staying here much less than a pleasure as there was no where for us to go in the hotel except to our small room. If the weather was pleasant (or at least mid-forties) this hotel would have been ok for us. I want to state the hotel staff was pleasant and were as accomodating as possible. There are no elevators or lifts in this small hotel, so you'll either need to hump your luggage to the room or ask for assistance, because all rooms are a stairway or more away. Our hotel room window was on the same alleyway as the entrance to the hotel, which we expected from other reviews. This presented noise issues during the night, the trash was picked up around 2:00 am, folks walking in the alley sounded loud as their voices bounced off the walls (and into our room), so I'm stating the room isn't quiet. It was clean, the bed firm, and would have been a good base if you want to Old Town as Veronese is on the outskirts, a good base location for walking. The price was 95 Euros, and there were no additional costs added at checkout. We arrived at 10:00 am the day of our stay and the staff immediately helped us carry our bags to the room. This was wonderful and very appreciated by us, which is why we gave them a higher rating. Jill Miller
