Location

The Alhambra (2.6 km) - The Alhambra was a palace, a citadel, fortress, and the home of the Nasrid sultans, high government officials, servants of the court and elite soldiers (from the 13th to the 14th century). It is surrounded by woods, gardens and orchards.

Granada's Cathedral (300 m) - Located right in the centre of Granada and with entrance by the Gran Vía street, it is considered as the 1st Renaissance church of Spain.

Albayzín Islâmico (50 m) - Their narrow and raised streets take us to the centre of the old Arab district of the city.

Sierra Nevada (36 km) - Its great altitude on the level of the sea (2.100m to 3.300m) allows that snow is almost assured during the winter. Without a doubt, what attracts more of Sierra Nevada is its magnificent meteorology, with more than 70% of sunny days during the season, which allows to ski simultaneously in superb conditions. The snow, due to the altitude, stays in excellent condition.

We had a super stay at this hotel. It is in the very centre of Granda - so convenient but some rooms do face the Via Gran Colon (very busy street). The hotel has its own car park but will charge you if you wish to use it. On arrrival we asked for our room to be change to a quieter part of the hotel and were offered a lovely room in the older part of the hotel. The staff were helpful at all times. The Alhambra is a 3 min taxi ride away and you can walk to the the Albaicin from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.
