Hotel Miramar - Antibes, France 

L'albergo è piccolo e semplice, ma i proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili e soprattutto la posizione è fantastica. In una zona bellissima e tranquilla, dove ci sono praticamente solo ville gigantesche e hotel di lusso per privilegiati, non è facile trovare una sistemazione di medio livello. Camere e bagni sono pulitissimi, seppure di piccole dimensioni, e la spiaggia è a 20 metri. Giudizio positivo.

Not only were the rooms small, the beds smaller, and the tv screen invisible to the naked eye, but the hotelier was so rude that he didn't even let me know when the airline finally delivered my misplaced bag. This after I specifically alerted him, in both french and english, that my bag was lost and would be delivered later in the day. So while I was up in my nook of a room, going gray with worry and just one phase of anxiety away from climbing the filthy curtains, this guy was just sitting there enjoying his evening's wine and not bothering to let me know that all was actually right with my world. Then they had the nerve to try to charge us for an extra night. Terrible. Even at this price point.
