I have just returned from 10 days at this hotel and would definitely recommend it.
We has a cliff facing room with balcony which was ok as we did not spend much time in the room. In saying that, 1 or 2 nights we had drinks on the balcony and the sound of the birds in the shrubbery on the cliff was very relaxing. The room was quite large with lots of storage space and a fridge. The bathroom was also a good size. The pool was very big and had a separate kids pool. The surrounding pool area, snack bar & courtyard were very nice. Just have to clarify one thing - the sun loungers are ?5 per day but the deck chairs are free. I do however agree that there should be no charge. Breakfast was good. The tunnel entrance is a great feature.
The staff on the main reception and at the pool were very friendly and helpful. We had mistakenly left our passports in the hotel in Rome where we had stayed before Sorrento. Sara, on reception at Conca Park, phoned and arranged for them to put them in their safe until our return and to fax copies to us in Sorrento. Great service.
Unfortunately, there are a few small problems I feel the need to mention. At breakfast every morning we had to ask the waiters for a cappocino and judging by the reaction on their faces, this was a great inconvenience - this was not just one waiter but all of them! If this had been any other country I may have understood it but not Italy - the home of the cappocino! Due to the unfriendly/unhelpful staff in the restaurant, we decided not to have dinner there which was a pity as the menu looked really nice.
Another little problem was that the toiletries/shower cap were never replaced & we had to get them ourselves from the trolley. the first day we phoned reception and they were brought to us but after that it wa easier to get them ourselves.
One other thing that bothered us a little was the noise some days - not really the hotels fault but because the floors both in the bedrooms & corridors are tiled everything is echoed - in the rooms above & outside the door.
That said - the location of this hotel is excellent, 5 minutes walk to Piazza Tasso. If in Sorrento again, we will definitely be staying at the Conca Park Hotel.

I booked this hotel because it was relatively inexpensive and because i was coming into Sorrento late at night. From the first moment we arrived to when we left the next moring I was extremely happy. I would have paid more money to stay at this hotel as it was excellent. Everything from the room to the service, and from the facilities to the location it was all fantastic. The outdoor pool and surrounds were amazing and well looked after. Obviously, there would be better hotels about but considering the price you pay, it just doesn't get much better. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
