We spent one night here in March 2005, paying NZ$89 for a double room with ensuite. Unlike many NZ motels, there is no kitchen facility here. The room furnishings were a bit dated, but clean and acceptable. For the price, it was not a value, but we were staying in Christchurch over Easter weekend, so it was fine for the circumstances. We booked this room via Orbitz, which implied that taxes would be additional; GST was included in the rate. There are two buildings, one 3 stories, the other 2 stories. We stayed on the top floor of the 2-story building, so no footsteps overhead. Free parking. Refrigerator, coffee/tea in the room.
