Location
Cala Santanyí is located in the southeast of the island, in an area unspoilt by mass tourism, some 45 km from the airport and approximately 55 km from Palma. The surrounding area is quiet, peaceful, with attractive natural surroundings, and beautiful scenery. The area is part of the Municipality of Santanyí and the town of Santanyí itself is just 4 km away. Close by, going down the coast in a westerly direction is Cala Llombards, followed by the beautiful Cala S'Almonia and Caló d'es Moro. These towns are in the heart of the countryside, bordering the estates of es Rafal and S'Avall in a protected nature reserve. Only 3 km to the east is the picturesque fishing port of Cala Figuera and the Cala Mondragó nature reserve.There are some very interesting spots in Cala Santanyí. In the bay itself, is a slipway with fishermen's boathouses. There is also a beautiful underwater cave that is a must for scuba divers. On the other side of Cala Santanyí is an ancient half-ruined watchtower. The most famous landmark in Cala Santanyí is undoubtedly Es Pontás, a stone arch in the sea, carved out by the force of the elements.
Other places of interest outside the hotel include riding stables (13 km away) and a golf course (18 km away).
