Rixos Hotel Tekirova - Kemer, Turkey 

I have stayed in many hotels in Turkey all of them being all inclusive, but none of them as high standard as this. I stayed in this hotel for two weeks in August 2007 with my daughter aged 13 and my husband. Firsty, there were no english at the hotel, but us, and occurding to the staff there hadn't been for a while. I would say 80% were russian, and the rest from Ukraine or Germany, great if your idea of a hoilday is just for the family.But not so great for a 13 year old, as there was no-one for her to talk too. The rooms were a good size but nothing special, just what you expect from a good hotel, but they were clean and tidy. They were the right size as we don't spend much of the time in the room. The staff were exceptional, it really was ultra all inclusive luxury, there was even a lady that came round twice a day too clean your sunglasses, something that i missed when i got home =D There was also watermelon and water that was frequently brought around the sunbeds. As a typical all-inclusive all the drinks were included including cocktails, house wine, and quite a lot of alchol. The restaurants, were great the buffet had really everything you could ask for, in all the all inclusives i've been too i have too say that is the best. The a-la carte restaurants, were also, great although the booking for them, seemed like a good idea at first, but was annoying in the end. You could book into a restaurant, via a computers, that were in the reception, they opened about 8am i think or it could have been a little later. But people would be queing way before it opened, some people booking tables for other guests, which i found very annoying especially as there were limited spaces. Also we weren't told that you could only book into the same restaurant once during your stay, so as you can imagine we went to most of the a-la cartes the first week not realising. I highly recommend the french restaurant which is at the top of the hotel looking over the sea and mountians, also the barbeque restaurant was good as you get uncooked meat and cook it yourself your own barbeque =D At night i can't believe how much entertainment there was, there was the nightly show, in the amithertre, some of them were really amazing, something you maybe couldn't even find in the uk. For the kids there was a lunapark, great to keep them entertained although it is a extra cost. It had mini trampolines, mini big wheel and a few others not much but good for a hotel. Then about twice a week they had a beach party in the bar on the beach. They had fireworks, that were exceptional, you could have stayed there all night if you wanted. In the day, you sure weren't stuck at things to do, there was a main lagoon pool, that really was massive, and a waterslide pool, there was about 4 waterslides, but they were very good, and were open untill 6 i think. For adults, there was tai-chi, aqua-aerobics, pool games, three tennis courts, table tennis, ten-pin bowling, billards, arcades, fitness centre, aerobics, archery, beach volleyball, mini football, mini basketball, canoes, pedalos and don't forget the watersports. There was a great PADI dive centre on site, which was really great they did daily trips out and trails in the pool nearly all day every day. For the kids, they had there own club, which didn't have any other english children in i don't think but it looked good, a cinema for children, pool, mini disco, vararity of shows in busy periods and playgrounds. They also had these great like four poster beds on the beach that you could rent for a day, right by the sea. You had a fan, a butler that brought drinks and food and really anything you wanted, it was a a extra charge. But it was exceptional. I definitly reccomend the turkish bath, and the freshly squesed juices. I would more than likely return, it was a great hoilday and i would come agian now if i could.
