Playa Park - Salou, Spain     

We got back yesterday from the playa park, and we had a brilliant time, I expected the hotel to be reasonable as it gets o.k reviews on here but didnt expect alot as it only cost us ?60 a night for 3 of us half board. I couldnt believe how nice it looked when we pulled up outside, reception were very friendly and helpful and we checked into our room (4th floor over looking pool) straight away. Fantastic room,very clean and our balcony overlooked entertainment area, so we could watch the shows on the balcony with a drink in the evening which the kids loved. Breakfast I didnt think was great, I had egg and beans mainly I didnt like the bacon or sausage and all the drinks at breakfast were pretty awful, so take a travel kettle for a decent brew! Dinner was lovely meat, fish, veg, salad, pasta, chips, potatoes and all hot and well cooked. Drinks with dinner were reasonably priced, we got a big bottle of water between the 3 of us for 3euros. The lovely cove is a few minutes away, we spent lots of time there sunbathing and paddling in the sea. Also the pool,although small is plenty big enough for everyone and there are always enough sunloungers.People dont bother saving them (just a few did mainly brits!) I could get a sunbed any time of day no problem. There was a nice mix of nationalities at the hotel, more british on my last day (england flags over the balcony on the 5th floor, weighed down with big water bottles to stop them blowing! stupid and dangerous!) they just made a lovely hotel look chavy! overall we had a fantastic holiday and would go back to salou and this hotel again it was one of the best hols we have had

stayed at playa park for 14 nights was a fanatstic hotel! staff were all really helpful and polite you couldnt fault them.. hotel is quite near everything you need and also on a really good location. the only bit i would fault is there wasn't much of a choice of food for my 2 1/2 yr old but me and my partner loved it even thinking of goin back again to the same hotel it was that good.
