The hotel is about a 40 min transfer from airport. The flight was good, passed quickly, I was on thomas cook flight booked through Direct Holidays.
The hotel reception very nice, reception staff not very frienldly, but could understand english.
The room was very very dated, but very clean, so I could not really complain. I paid extra for a room with a sea view, and the view was great, but its also a pool view wher all the entertainment takes place at night very very loud till about half 1 in the morning. But the view is great and for me, I like a nice balcony and view.
The restaurant is nice, staff mainly very friendly apart from one of the guys who welcomes you at the door. The food was mainly good. Plenty choice, always something you can eat, but it was not the best Ive ever had on holiday. I like fresh fruit cut up in morning, but this is one of only places Ive been where you dont get that. Lots of fresh fruit, but I couldnt be bothered peeling and cutting it.
Place full of spanish people, which is fine by me, but so so many kids. Very noisy, pool got loads beds but very very busy.
I went to beach every day and paid 3 euros each day for the privelage of a bed wi umberella and padded cushion to lie on, and it was so quiet and peaceful well worth the money.
The drinks were v good. When you order wine it is always brought to you in a full bottle in the restaurant. Bottled water and the rest of drinks are very good too cos the local spirits are nice enough. Cocktails nice too.
I thought the hotel good value for money, The area lovely, lots of restaurants bars walking distance, a lovely promenade where I went runnin every morning. Lovely area.
I would say the Zoraida Garden is bit better cos the rooms have been updateed slightly, but the Zoraida Park was a nice hotel and I would go back if there were not so many other places Iv not been to, and I like to try different areas hotels

second time we have stayed at zoraida and loved every day of it
food was above average and mainly spanish which makes a change from the normal egg , bacon , steak and everything with chips . poolside is brilliant with plenty of chairs and space ( no getting up at 7 am to make sure of getting one ) beach even better with hardly anyone down there. entertainment at night a bit limited with a lot in spanish but still pretty watchable i am 40 and partner is 45 with a child of 14 he loved it , made a few friends and found plenty to do during the day
lovely place to go if you want unwind and relax without the usual brits ( football shirts , kareoke , english food etc )
ps i love my football as passionately as anyone
also nice walks in the eveing down to the old town and marina or up to the newer part which is more commercial
