Just back from a second visit to this hotel. We stayed for 11 nights and we booked with 1800hotels.ie and got a very good rate. The hotel was perfectly situated, the one bed apartments were all facing the pool and contained fridge, two ring cooker, kettle, microwave, toaster, telephone, balcony etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We took the breakfast included option. This was a buffet and catered for all tastes. We had read that it could be quite noisy but did not find this the case on either visit. The aparthotel is just an 8 minute walk to the beach and there is a variety of restaurants etc. alongside the hotel. We spent most of our social life in the dunes and tunes bar on the waterfront. This was a lot more sedate than the craic in the irish centre. The staff in dunes and tunes were wonderful. There is a taxi rank outside the hotel just nextdoor at the Yumbo centre so we certainly found this hotel very central. We will definitely be returning again.

Me and my girlfriend just returned from our first holiday together in Gran Canaria, and we had initially booked a different hotel which was cheap and what turned out to be nasty, upon discovering our mistake via the reviews on this site we changed our minds and paid an extra 70 euros for this hotel. Best Decision we made that is for certain....as when we got too see what we would of stayed in....a cockroach infested dosshouse we felt we had a lucky escape. The location is amazingly central, it is walking distance to the beach with a bus stop and taxi rank literally outside the hotel door, with a taxi fair of only just over 2 euros. The beach has a large area of arcades and gorgeous restaurants right along the shore line. Round the corner is the Yumbo (gay) center, a two minute walk if that. It contains many shops and nice restaurants and cafes, and at night stalls for souvenirs. Up the road a 2 minute taxi ride is the Cabah centre which contains all the nightlife, which has some fantastic bars and clubs. The pool is fantastic and there are loads of sun loungers and a pool bar. Near reception who have very friendly english speaking staff on duty all night and day, there is another bar which has a free pool table and some internet terminals. The room itself was big enough for what we needed and provided a fridge, coffee machine, kettle along with pots, pans, knives, forks and glasses. Even a bottle opener which came in handy as you can imagine. The maids cleaned everyday and the linen was changed every three days we never noticed any dirtiness, and bugs were never an issue here. The one negative was the lack of air conditioning, however we paid 2 euros a day for the two weeks to rent a fan for the room so it was fine. On the final day we getting picked up at 8pm, we were allowed a courtesy room because we had to check out by 12, also our luggage was stored in a locked cupboard until we departed. Gorgeous hotel, gorgeous place, HIGHLY recommend, especially to young couples.
