Marinas de Nerja Beach & Spa - Nerja, Spain 

A nice, clean and bright Hotel with its own, almost private beach, and beach bed area in a grass strip next to the bach. Hotel is in a quiet area just outside Nerja. Ideal for family holidays. 2 bedroom appartment was very clean and tidy, towels changed daily, beach towels also available. All rooms have sea view. Nice swimming pool. Food excellent and plenty to choose from.

We enjoyed an excellent holiday in this hotel. We had a two bedroom-ed apartment with adequate kitchen area, large lounge, and good firm beds, tidy and clean. Hotel staff were also excellent. Although hotel was nearly full, the pool area, gardens, beach, bar and restaurant were never busy - more than enough sun-loungers. This hotel is in the SAGA brochure, so expect a lot of retired people. Other than that, most people were families with young children. Very few couples only and no singles, probably due to the number of larger apartments suited to families. Little, if any, hotel entertainment, and no nearby bars nor discos, so quiet evenings and no sleepless nights. It is B&B, half or full board, with all meals in the restaurant - very good range of foods at all meal times - typical buffet style - to suit all tastes. Out of Nerja - about a mile, nothing nearby at all, and no shops/restaurants on the road into Nerja, but easily walkable, and a bus stop right outside. Nerja is a lovely simple resort, plenty of local shops and restaurants. Hotel beach is OK, but shingly and stony rather than golden sands.
