We stayed with 4 persons in a nice and cool (own airconditioning) apartment on the street side. The staff was very friendly and the cleaning perfect. It was very enjoyable sitting on the terrace on the street side with breakfast and dinner watching the parade of holiday-people. Also in the evening we enjoyed a few times in the week live-music till 23.00 hour in the opposite restaurant. The nearby British pub "Cheers" was amusing with their family-entertainment. A SPAR-supermarket was also very nearby. Just a 3 till 5-minutes walk to a perfect beach with also shade of nice trees and a lot of shops and restaurants. Choose one of the quiet apartments if you don't like the street noise. There is a nice pool between the apartment-buildings. We also liked the food in Elisa, eating a la carte for a fair price. Playa the Muro is a good start to make trips if you have a rental car. We visited Formentor, Sa Calobra (only for experienced drivers), Soller, Palma and the east coast (Es Trenc-beach and the great Caves del Drac). Parking the car was no problem in the neighbourhood. So certainly a good and nice experience staying in Elisa.

May 2005. My son and I stayed here for 6 nights. This is a family hotel with apartment units by the pool but we had a studio. The first night, our room was small with some noise but we got moved the next day to a clean, large studio in the main building which opened to a huge rooftop patio area overlooking a lake. (If we had stayed in the first room, I would only rate this OK) The beach was a few blocks away. We were on a budget and our room exceeded our expectations - we went to a local grocery store and took advantage of the small kitchen. Since this is a touristy area, there were many restaurants nearby (all price ranges). Bike rentals were a short walk with a place to leave them at hotel. The one problem was that we arrived at the Palma airport (50 minutes away) too late for the bus or train so we had a very expensive cab ride to the hotel. We liked the Alcudia beaches. One of the desk clerks, Miguel, was especially helpful.
