We chose this hotel because it stated that it was in Mijas where we wanted to be to have a look at venues for our wedding. Imagine our disappointment when the hotel is 20km away from Mijas village. It's in Calahonda.
Aside from that the hotel is ok, rooms are clean and spacious. Pool and gardens are nice.
Staff however are unfriendly and unhelpful. The guy in the bar just grunted at us when we asked for menus saying 'kitchen closed' even though it was half an hour before it was due to as stated on the door. Receptionists aren't much better.
Conside staying elsewhere.

We arrived here for a week of rest and relaxation, and we have had that.
The Atlantic club apartment was clean and tidy, and the maid service came in every two days, to refresh the towels and clean.
We had a three bedroomed apartment which had twin beds in each room, with a pull out double sofa in the lounge area, which were not too bad for comfort.
As we had travelled in early November, we thought it may be warm in the day and in the evening quite cool, which it was, extra blankets could have come in quite handy as it did get quite cold.
This apartment complex is on the top of a hill, so not for those with walking difficulties.
Whilst the apartment was clean, the pool area and sunbeds were in need of a clean.as did the buildings themselves.
The restaurant was closed permanently, so if we wanted to dine out, we had to go down the hill to a selection of bars and restaurants local. However these buildings too were in need of an update, and we wanted something traditionally Spanish, not Chinese, English,Indian etc, so we travelled into Marbella and found what we were looking for.
Most of the complex staff were nice to talk too, (try your spanish) as this goes down very well. We did on occasion find one member of staff, on reception, quite terse.
The transfer we arranged with the resort was 55 euros from the airport, and going back it was 50, and not as the resort website offers, free transfers.
The local supermarkets were quite away away from the resort, A walk up and down hills in both directions to the SuperSol or Lidl, and both had plenty of choices. I would suggest that the Lidl was the better option, remember that a lot of the shops close early in the afternoon for Siesta time, and close early evening, I believe around 8pm. although am not quite sure if this was because it was November and not much trade.
There was no activity on site for children at all, apart from the pools, and a pool table.
We had a restful week which is what we came for, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet, in a standard resort.
