On a 3 stop tour of Spain, we stayed 5 nights at El Fuerte in Marbella. Through other reviews, we knew to upgrade to a front sea view room prior to arrival. Definitely worth the $60 up charge!!
Our average size room had a very large terrace overlooking the hotel's 2 pools and the Mediterranean sea beyond. We found the hotel to be very quiet .... only the sound of the waves.
The staff was extremely helpful, informative and eager to help us through our minimal Spanish language skills.
You can't beat the location of this property: it's right across the street from Old Town and also connected to the 8km pedestrian promenade.
