What Travellers Like

In a great location on the Grand Via this hotel offers a standard of luxury greater than its 4 stars might imply. Look around for a deal when booking, as its possible to get breakfast included in the rates. The executive upgrade is worth paying extra for - providing access to a comfortable and complimentary lounge/ bar. If staying in a room overlooking the street, insist on one with sound-proofing as the street is very noisy all night long. The hotel provides old-school, if a little dated, glamour - brass rails and chandillers - and the rooms are huge. Bathrooms are full-on marble with flufy bathrobes.. Read review

We had a club emperador room which was large with a seating area and fantastic bathroom. Whilst the room was at the front it was not noisy. We had access to the emperador lounge which was well worth it with a free bar to relax in at the end of the day and a seperate restaurant for breakfast although I have to say that the breakfasts in the main restuarant were superb. The staff were always polite and helpful.. Read review

The location is good, right in the middle of the City Center. Our room on the first floor was above the Kitchen. When we arrived there was no A/C in the room. There was a sticker on the wall telling us to conserve water. The rooms are spacious but the furniture is old and the wall paper on the walls is peeling off.. Read review

The rooms are lush and spacious, plenty of amenities and the breakfasts are great as well. While at times we had a bit of difficulty communicating in English with some of the staff, still they were always friendly and gracious.. Read review
