The rooms are in fact soundproofed so it is not the sound from the adjoining rooms that you hear but noise from the corridor. The rooms are extremely modern and minimalistic. The staff are more than helpful and the breakfast good.. Read review

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very conveniently located, but set on a side street, which helped lower the noise level that is The free internet was also a plus. The manager was very kind and helpful, and even tolerated my mediocre attempts at Spanish (unusual for Spaniards).. Read review

The room was a suite with all the modern conveniences. In the lobby was free internet for guests. The small size (37 rooms) made this a quaint oasis in a large city. Nearby were several Tapas bars and fine restaurants.. Read review

From the airport: By Metro: Take the underground line 8. Exit at Nuevos Ministerios and change to a line going towards Puerta Sur. Exit at Príncipe Pío and change to the line going to Ramal Opera. The journey takes 45 minutes, at a cost of EUR 2.
By Car: - Follow the signs for centro ciudad, city centre, Gran Vía or Palacio Real. - The hotel is located in Campomanes Street.

Hotel Meninas was in an excellent location, near a subway stop and close to the palace and several other tourist areas. It was on a fairly quiet street. The room was small but adequate. Free internet access in the Lobby and very helpful welcoming front desk staff. We would definately stay there again!
