Vincci Soho - Madrid, Spain

A group of twelve friends stayed here and found the hotel to be in an excellent position ideal for the old centre of Madrid. The rooms where very modern and the bathrooms fitted out very well. We did not eat in the hotel but found the service in the bar a bit hit and miss. Two of our group ate breakfast in the hotel and found it of average standard but expensive, so dont bother.

There were no rooms available at the Vincci Soho (even with a reservation) so they walked us to another hotel in the chain, Vincci Centrum. The Vincci Centrum was very nice (looked like the pictures of Vincci Soho). It was closer to Gran Via and on a more central road. The general manager was apologetic and provided an amenity as well as including breakfast.

when travelling for business i spend quite some time in the room either working or resting. Watching TV suppose to be relaxing. But unfortunately all channels are in Spanish (it is a joke to watch CCN or BBC world all the time). THEY SHOULD HAVE SOME GENERAL OR MOVIE CHANNELS IN ENGLISH.NOT ONLY PAY TV.

Secure, well appointed room and bathroom.I found decor attractive,my partner did not. Good towels. Safe is available free of charge in room. No kettle. Hotel is very well situated with regard to museums, major plazas and metro station[Anton Martin] All within walking distance.

Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Camere nuove stile moderno ma non grandissime. Bagno spazioso con ogni genere di comfort. Il punto di forza di questo hotel è la posizione, a soli 200 metri da Piazza S. Ana, fulcro della movida (ristoranti, tapas bar, locali), e a 2 passi dalle principali attrazioni di Madrid (museo del Prado, parco del Retiro, Plaza mayor, ecc).
