Excellent hotel, very large rooms and bathrooms, well decorated. The locations is very good, 1 block from Princesa street, 1 block form El Corte Ingles, 1 block from the metro station, 3 block from Plaza de Espa?a. Very close to downtown Madrid, 15 minutes walk. Downtown Madrid is a very crowded and noisy area, so being in a quiet and residential area this close to the center of the city is a plus for me, the hotel is on a quiet street, you could hardly hear any noise at night.
The hotel offers free wireless Internet access from any point of the property.
We are a family of 5, we stayed in 1 double and 1 triple room, each of them had a little kitchenette equipped with microwave and refrigerator.
The pictures I saw on the tripadvisor link was exactly what I found.
As a conclusion, this hotel offers great value for the money.

W e stayed here twice during our visit to spain last month.A total of 10 days in this hotel. The location is excellent. It is near an El Corte Ingles on calle princessa , a catholic church and citibank branch on the very next block .El Figal is a good tapas bar across the hotel. Both times the hotel staff was efficient and helpful. The rooms are spacious enough for my wife and 3 young children. The kids slept in the pullout sofa while my wife and I slept in the room. The kitchen was good enough to make coffee and microwave food from the El Corte Ingles deli.Basic kitchen needs are included. The room was cleaned daily.Bathrooms are also very clean. On the negative side, the outside corridor carpeting needs replacement . I would stay here again, anytime.
