4The location is very centric. Very close to the Metro station. We used the Metro to go practically everywhere in Madrid. It is also pretty easy to ride the Metro from the Airport all the way to the hotel, as long as you don't have too much baggage (20 - 30 minutes ride, with one train change). There are several cafe's and restaurants within a few blocks so getting food was not a problem. One very nice thing is that the hotel is not located in a turisty area. There weren't any street performers, beggars, or crouds to contend with. Considering the price we paid (80 Euros/night) I would say this hotel is a very good value and I enjoyed my stay. We only experienced two negative things that are worth mentioning. The air conditioning leaked condensation and got some of our stuff wet. When I told the hotel staff they oppologized and said they could not get anyone to fix it until Monday(It happened saturday). Their temporary solution was placing some pillows under the drip to catch the moisture. The second negative was the noise. The walls were pretty thin. This didn't pressent too much of a problem to us, but I can see how it could be annoying if you have noisy neighbors. I've been to Madrid one other time and so far this was the better place. I would definately consider staying there again, specially considering the price.
