Perfect for an independent break in Madrid. Fully equipped studio apartment only a few metres from the Gran Via metro stop and a 5 minute walk from Puerta del Sol. (The metro is extremely easy to navigate.) A lovely restaurant and bar and a small grocery shop on the same street to keep the fridge fully stocked with vino and cerveza! We stayed 3 nights over the New Year period and were pleasantly surprised to find that it was EXACTLY as described on their website. You may benefit from taking a spanish phrase book as you get a wonderful welcome from Juan, the owner, but he speaks Spanish only, so if you don't know the basics, communication may be limited to Spanglish and exaggerated hand gestures! A great place to base yourself in Madrid.
