We arrived at Hotel Moncloa, the Princesa's sister hotel on 22nd Jan and were upgraded to the Princesa. A wonderful start!! It was in a great location and the staff were very ffirendly and helpful. The rooms had 2 double beds and a marble bathroom. It was a Wi-Fi zone also, not that I had time to use my laptop as Madrid was magic and there was so much to do. We enjoyed room service one night following a full day and night out and the food was excellent. Great value, great location, great trip. I booked via Venere.com and their service was exceptional too.

Camere ampie e spaziose. Hotel che però per la qualità dei servizi, della receptions e dell'attenzione dei particolari non può essere classificato come un 5 stelle ma bensì al massimo come 4 stelle. Particolarmente al di sotto dello standard la qualità dei servizi di receptions

Superior hotel in a desirable, convenient location.

This hotel is a gem in Madrid. It is suitable to business travellers or turists. Not the best option for a family with kids. It offers a luxury accomodation convenient to shopping ( right next to a El Corte Ingles store) and the downtown area at a walking distance ( 30 minutes) or via underground (Arguelles station) near the hotel. Extremely fairly priced for a 5 stars. Rooms are nice even if for a 5 star I would have expected a little more elegance. Nice linen towels with hotel embroidered monogram in the bathroom. Staff is extremely professional. I didn't try the restaurant but I had the room service which was average but good. I would gladly stay there again. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
