"Great hotel, especially for the price"

I booked this hotel through the Hotels website for the amazing price of $90 / night (taxes included). The hotel is terrific, with clean attractive public spaces, and a great room with brand new beds and a very nice bathroom. Hotel restaurant was also very nice and a good bargain. Breakfast buffet was 10 euros and good. Hotel in rather sterile section of town, but only a pleasant 15 minute walk to Prado museums.

I was extremely impresessed with this hotel. Okay it is a short walk from the centre of Madrid but there is a taxi rank right outside where you can jump in and spend less than 6 Euros goin to any part of the old town. I do not agree that the rooms were "spartan" as the previous review stated. In fact we were impressed with the decor and comfort of the spacious room-certainly not what we were expecting having stayed in other Italian cities. It is classed as UK 3 Star but I think it is more like 4 star. Excellent Vlaue fo what we paid!

Good for business travellers

I stayed at this hotel while in Madrid on business. The hotel is within walking distance of the city centre and the rooms are all clean and comefortable with a modern look and feel. As a business visitor I had no complaints. If travelling to Madrid as a tourist I imagine that this hotel would be quite expensive and better value could be found elsewhere which is why I'd rate this with 3/5 stars
