Villa Real details: Set in the cultural and commercial heart of Madrid, the Hotel Villa Real occupies a new building but contains many ancient artefacts. It is only a short walk from main sights, such as Puerta del Sol.

The collection of artefacts on show in the hotel include Roman mosaics and Greek Apulian vessels dating from the early third century BC to the fifth century AD. Throughout the new building, wood panelling, marble floors, painted stucco and antique furnishings blend seamlessly with state-of-the-art facilities. Outside the hotel, you will find the city´s main sights, such as Gran Vía, the Retiro Park and the world-renowned galleries only a few minutes away.

The tranquil beauty of Parque del Buen Retiro is less than a kilometre from the hotel. This large and popular park consists of 350 acres of parkland in the centre of the city.

Plaza de Cibeles has been adopted as the city’s symbol and this attractive square, will all of its stunning sculptures and fountains, is just 500 metres from the hotel.
