Los Agustinos - Haro, Spain 

We have stayed now 5 times at this hotel and we really love it - believe us we have high standards! The hotel has a luxury feel to it with red carpets in the room and really nice bathrooms with a power shower. The check in is quick, the staff are not overly friendly but efficient. We got them to park the car in the garage for 10 euros, but it's worth it for the convenience. We never eat breakfast there as the Cafe Suizo on the square 5 mins walk has orange juice, coffee and a croissant for just 3.70 euros, lovely! Would definitely recommend.

The building is very impressive and feels full of atmosphere apart from some of the the naff modern styling in the courtyard. The rooms have a lovely traditional feel with solid walls, wooden beams and quality linen. The reception staff were fine but I can see how they could get frazzled as it feels like a small town operation serving a US market who expect American levels of service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it though as the rooms are so nice and reasonably priced.
