we arrived at the hotel 2 and half hours after landing yet travel is supposed to be 35 mins. nobody tells you the hotel is at the top of a steep hill in a rough area we didnt feel safe in this area day or night. they have security on at night. the hotel is full of 17-20 year olds running riot. there were glass bottles being thrown from the balconys, rubbish being thrown, music full blast from 21.00 - 0700 every night/morning, nobody can speak english, it was full of spanish, germans and french, the third bed in our room was a camp bed with metal coming out the mattress we had to get the spare blankets and cover it over for extra padding and the bloody fire doors on every floor are the loudest shutting doors i have ever heard. not recommended for families like it says, cried for 3 of the days it was that bad, pool is too small for the amount of people but it was clean and the food was nice if you like eating the same thing every day. went on a trip to barcelona, was the only english on the coach and the rep spoke german all the way there and back so we didnt get to know anything about the town they even forgot to drop us off at our hotel so we had to walk from another hotel

Myself and my girlfriend have just returned from the Hotel Hawai and had an average time. The food at both breakfast time and evening meal time were nothing great, not much variety, not very hot and not a very big restaurant either. The restaurant had an inability to cater for alot of people at anyone time. The staff in the restaurant we found particularly ignorant and unhelpful. Pool bar staff were excellent as were the bar facilities and reception facilities. We encountered plenty of problems with locals and other nationalities.. etc.. germans and croations!(Very ignorant) Dinner times were like feeding time at the zoo when these particular people were in the restaurant, and combine that with the poor quality and variety of the food and this made us eat out, though we had paid for our meals. The room was basic, but very clean, we didn't have anything theived by maids, everything was as we left the room. The pool area was very small but pleasant as it does not get very busy. Overall to finish off, i would not go back again to the Hotel, or the resort of Lloret de Mar!
