There are 2 buildings to this hotel. If you are facing the hotel from the street you want the building on the left. Each room has its own functioning AC, large bathrooms, nice beds. The other building has central air that does not work and is pretty run down. If its summer and you're in the old building you'll be miserable. Check out the pizza place around the corner... pretty tasty.

I think some of the reviews had to be written before the renovations. This hotel is perfect for the budget traveler, or member of a group. Of course, I wouldn't stay here for my honeymoon or romantic getaway.
The hotel is in a great neighborhood, about a mile southeast from the Coliseum. The staff was nice, the beds and bathrooms were spotless. The air conditioner worked well, and the rooftop terrace was a perfect place to unwind with a bottle of wine. I would definitely stay here again, and I can't always say that about hotels in Rome.
In short, great price, a really good hotel!
