- We were initially booked into the Confort Plaza but were moved to this hotel due to a problem with Confort Plaza's air conditioning. When we arrived, two of the three beds were made up (with clean sheets) and only one had pillows. We asked the "dubious northern man" on reception for more clean sheets and pillows and. Posted: Sep 29, 2009 - Hotel Del Mar - Ideal Hotel appartment, Arriving at 2am we were greeted by a really lovely English man who was most friendly and helpfull. Our allocated room was a dive with no AC or view apart from a brick on our balcony! In the sweat pit for 10 mins and still being 2am in the morning we knew we were going to have to change rooms this was not good! We discussed our problem with the English chap about the room and said he could change us the next morning no problems! The new room was bigger colder and better and had a balcony which looked out over the swimming pool which by the way has the most amazing views.. Read review
Posted: Aug 14, 2009 - The location is fantastic, balcony viewing the street harbour we went off to sleep happy and hotel Del Mar - Ideal Hotel appartment. Complained to reception didn't seem to fussed, large window tho to let the air in. . Read review
