I booked the holiday over the internet for myself and three friends, we found the hotel as it was cheaper than the others and our way of thinking was that all we would be doing in the hotel was sleeping there. We arrived and thought the hotel didnt look all that bad and it wasn't. Untill on the 4th day of our week long holiday a girls room had been robbed, taking money, makeup and underwear. This was the day and everyone assumed it was the maids but since it was only 1 room we did not really worry. That night after coming back from a night down the strip, we were greeted outside by most of the residents of our hotel, who were shouting at us to check our room. We did but none of our rooms had been robbed. We came back down to find people screaming at the hotel receptionist and others crying, only to find out 21 rooms in our hotel had been robbed, taking only money leaving Ipods and mobiles. The police came but done nothing. The next day everyone was really vigilant with thier belongings (My friends were that worried that everywhere we went they took all there money) People were saying that it was something to do with the maids. That they were telling outsiders of the hotel things and thats how they were getting in and finding peoples money. Apart from that the hotel was basic. Very very noisy in the nights most nights we were getting in 7am one night we came in early as we had an early flight and should not have bothered as the hotel was so loud people screaming, throwing things, argueing, playing music we had no sleep. Food. Breakfast was fine a good selection of English breakfast, cereals and ham and cheeses (if thats your thing) Dinner was quite nice some nights but other nights i couldnt eat anything. Chips with every meal including breakfast. One Morning i got up to go down stairs to find the reception area smelt like cheese, only to find someone had been sick all over the seatees. Dont tell me the receptionist could not smell it, i had to point it out before any cleared it up. When walking in and out of the hotel you had to be very careful many people were filling up black bags out of the bins with water then dropping them on people walking in and out of the hotel (even older couples) DO NOT use the phone in your room to ring home or anyone, we used ours once because the phones down stairs never worked and at the end of our stay had a 34Euro bill. The pool was small but fine with plenty of sun beds around. Overall it was not that bad.
