Santa Anna - L'Estartit, Spain 

I booked a golfing holiday for seven direct from hotel and we weren't disappointed in any way, booking direct was a considerable saving i.e. beer money. The hotel arranged airport pick up/drop off and all golf course transfer, all were on time on a comfortable coach with a friendly driver. On arrival at the hotel the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and made sure everything was in order. We ate out every night, so can't comment on the hotel food. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I can recommend Harvey's (English Bar - get the Desperado in next time lads!)) which is just over the road and Kim’s (Catalan Cafe) which is also close and does excellent breakfasts and light lunches (and a good assortment of beers). There's the usual smattering of bars and eateries throughout the resort (plenty of English/Irish/Scots owned bars) as well as some good quality Catalan establishments - can recommend the Mexican. The hotel facilities include a pool which is accessed across a (not busy) road from the foyer. The pool is well kept and a pleasant temperature. All in all a great holiday and we will definitely travel to Santa Anna in the future.
