We stayed here for two nights and got an outward facing double. The room was clean however the beds were two twin beds pushed together without the strap in the middle. All of our other hotels in Spain had the strap in the middle to make it seem like a king size bed. No free ammenities like free breakfast, free minibar or free computer access w/ internet, again unlike our other hotels in Spain. I believe they had free Wi-Fi but we didn't bring a laptop. The place did have lots of characters like a riad in Morocco though less lavish, and it was a few yards away from Paseo de los Tristes with great views of the Alhambra. However, when the temperature rises the walk from Casa Morisca to Plaza Nueva is a little annoying. A narrow one-way street at times just enough space for one car and one person (literally). Though you can take the bus from Plaza Nueva to a stop just outside Casa Morisca, the buses sometimes wait up to 10 min before leaving Plaza Nueva. A few touristy restaurants nearby, but most places are around Plaza Nueva. Basically you get a room in a very nicely restored Albaicin mansion, but not much else. For what they charge, seems a bit overpriced compared to the four other places we stayed at throughout Spain.

This hotel has a lovely courtyard and is in a nice part of Granada, but let's be practical--what a traveler needs is a comfortable bed, a bathroom that works, and for most, a feeling that you're getting your money's worth. Our bed squeaked whenever we moved, the sink leaked, and the front desk personnel were sometimes helpful and sometimes not. The breakfast was expensive at 9 Euros and there is nowhere close by that is opened for breakfast before l0 a.m. I made a local phone call and was charged 1.5 Euros.
