Location

Girona, the city of 4 rivers, has a wealth things to see and do beginning with the old Jewish quarter (El Call) the heart of Girona's history and still beating with cultural life, its streets full of shops and restaurants, and also home to the city's most important architectural treasures.

The cathedral, the Arab baths, the churches of Sant Feliu, Sant Pere de Galligans and Sant Domènech, and the city wall, which can still be walked today, make Girona a city of outstanding heritage

3 of us stayed here for a night having flown in late evening and waiting to continue our journey by train the following morning. The hotel was a very good choice for the price paid, perfectly located, clean, free breakfast, friendly staff, couldn't expect more from a budget hotel. Suited our purpose very well and would stay again in similar circumstances or for a weekend break.

The best thing about this Hotel is its location it is right in the heart of the city. Also the free Internet access is an excellent idea - great for confiming flights and checking tourist info. The staff were plesant and the breakfast OK. Not amazing but you had a wide choice and it was served from 7.30 till 10.30. I went down late one day and you still had plenty to choose from. The rooms were a good size and very clean. However the beds and pillows were incredibly hard. This must have been the most uncomfortable bed I have EVER slept in - I dont think you would find much difference sleeping on a hard floor. The result was you could only get about 5 hours sleep before walking up aching all over. Please invest in some better beds!!!. Also be aware that some of the rooms are internal facing and while they have good windows you do not have a view and they can be a little dark. This provided a mixed blessing as they are at least very quite and peacfull.
