Location

Dénia, capital of the Marina Alta area is situated on the south east of the Iberian peninsula. Its harbour divides two kinds of coast: the northern one called “Les Marines” with typical sandy beaches and a southern one called “Les Rotes” which is rocky with pretty little cliffs. Fun and relaxation are guaranteed all day in this magic town. We have just arrived back from Ogisaka. When we arrived we were very disappointed as the apartment did not measure up by any means to the ones Interval International had sent us before. On arrival we wanted a hot drink in our apartment. No kettle. Asked at reception only to be asked what is a kettle and how do you spell it. After one week of being there we still did not manage to get a kettle from reception. There were very many little things missing - dessert spoons, wine glasses, kettle - I could gone on and on. We think we should have been told that it was under refurbishment. One of the pools was still being grouted. Sun loungers I think I saw about four on the resort. We did find that we got used to the resort just before we left. However we must point out the it was clean and reception staff very polite. Unfortunately we would never recommend anyone to go there. Apparently it was bought very cheaply about 18 mths ago and they are, we were told, going to spend 4 million on doing it up, hence why it was not too good. I would also like to mention that we had an extra night at the beginning of our holidays booked on the internet costing 47 euros when I asked if we could have one more night at the end I was told by reception it would be 80 euros cos its only cheap by booking on internet.
