Hotel Cala'n Bosch - Ciudadela, Spain 

before arriving at our hotel, we were slightly curious as to what the hotel would be like as we had heard both good and bad reviews. The hotel is slightly dated from the outside and doesn't look as pretty as some of the surrounding hotels, but the inside of the hotel is very clean and spacious with excellent facilities. We were staying on the top floor of the hotel and the room was nicely decorated with a newly refurbished bathroom. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and fresh towels provided daily. We found the hotel to be filled with a mixture of British, Italian and Swedish nationalities all of whom mixed well and it made for a very friendly atmosphere. The pool area was spacious with plenty of sunbeds, but you did have to reserve them early in the morning!! There was a life guard on duty until 6 in the evening and the hotel is situated right next to the beach if you fancy a change of scenery. Also a short walk away is a beautiful harbour with lots of bars and restuarants and also the wonderful Goody Goody bar which has a water slide, crazy golf and bouncy castles to keep the children entertained! The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly with a good understanding of english and the bar area was well staffed and it was easy to get served. The restaurant at the hotel provides food throughout the day and evening and the quality of the food is good with a good variety. The entertainments team were very friendly and organised activities throughout the day, but if you did not want to join in, they left you to sunbathe in peace! They also provided entertainment in the even ing as well as professional entertainers who were of a very high standard. The entertainments team worked well together and were a mixtures of Spanish and Italian, but all spoke brilliant english and were great fun. They also organised games and activities for children in the mini club. We had a great two week holiday and would definitely go back to the resort of Cala'n Bosch and this hotel.
