Grand Hotel Excelsior - , Italy 

We stayed for 1 week from 22 june,The hotel is very high up overlooking amalfi, the veiws are wonderful, its a bit of a pain that you are so far from the town but it takes about 15mins by bus down the mountain.The rooms are quite large the beds are very hard not very comfortable.Bathrooms are very big bath & seperate shower.The food is very good & the service is excellent no complaints there.No entertaiment as such only a jazz singer once a week outside.Other than that nothing in the evening at all. My main complaint was about the hotel pool which for most of out week was out of action because it needed cleaning we arrived on monday & the first time we could use it was friday.Everytime we asked about when it would be usable we were told they were working on it.Last the staff in the hotel were very very good always polite very helpful & very professional.
