Park Plaza Mandarin Eindhoven - Eindhoven, Netherlands     

This hotel has a policy of overbooking and placing you out in a remote alternative hotel when they are full. Read the other reviews, it happens a lot. I wrote to complain and they ignored my letter, didn't even acknowledge receipt. I work in Eindhoven and have stayed in most of the hotels, my company has a corporate rate at the Mandarin but I refuse to stay here and I actively encourage my colleagues to stay elsewhere. Try the Dorint or the Crown they are much better options.

I can definately reccomend this hotel. I read all the reviews on hotels in Eindhoven on Trip Advisor website before deciding on this one. Although some reviews were not good, I found the hotel to be extremely friendly and perfectly situated. There was four of us and we stayed for four nights. We were going for the European swimming championships. The hotel was a short walk from the bus stop that took us to the amazing swimming pool in about 10minutes and only cost 2.50 euros for the whole days travel. It was also a short walk into the main center with an excellent selection of shops etc. We found a lovely restaurant right next door ( expensive but worth it )and there is also a reasonable chinese in the hotel. We were given an older style room which was in need of decoration but was very big and clean. We were offered one of the newly refurbed rooms after two nights stay. It was at the weekend and the hotel was less full, but we looked at it and decided to stay put! It was a beautiful room but we didn't want to pack up and unpack. It was sweet of them to offer though. I would go there again!
