TripTake Traveler Reviews
When we arrived the hotel staff were polite and curteous to us and remained so throughout our stay. The only complaint we had were the seemingly lack of fire exits in the building. Our room was on the third floor and was at the opposite end of the floor's fire exit. With no potential escape route through the room's window, had there been a fire, we may have had difficulty reaching the end of the corridor or climbing down the narrow, dark and twisted staircase.
Apart from fire safety concerns our stay was very enjoyable. Our room consisted of a shared 3-bed and ensuite, which had satellite channels, mini bar, hair dryer and bath/shower, safe in the wardrobe. The room had adequate space with a large window opening out onto the side street. We were in a fairly quiet area, which although was conveniently located very near the centre of Paris, still allowed us a good night's sleep with no noise. The whole place was kept very clean and welcoming. All in all we had a good stay, if we were to return to Paris we would definately choose this hotel if we could be assured of a room close to a feasible fire exit beforehand.
Stayed for 6 days. The room is always clean and the bathroom is very spacious because I was expecting small space in France. We were given a room at the second floor with a view of the street. The staff was very helpful especially we arrived there when the Metro was on strike. They speak English and they will call you when your tour driver arrived in the hotel. The location is good and near the Metro. It is also a quiet area and around restaurants ( cheap and above averaged price). There's a MCdonalds when you turn left and everything is in there. The place is around showrooms of fancy mink coats. I told my bf that I would come back here again because it is a hit or miss when you book a hotel room in France. We had a good and comfortable stay. Just dont forget to bring your own bar soap and thick towels. Their towels are pretty old. Also, its a walking distance to the Louvre and Lafayette.
