Hotel Anba Romani - Cala Millor, Spain     

The positives: Hotel has great location and the staff are very friendly. Lots of Europeans staying at hotel but we found everyone to be really friendly. Good Breakfast. Clean room and Hotel in General was very clean. Ok, the negatives: Hotel room was very disappointing and in desperate need of a make over. After the second night the manager refused to put the balcony lights on which made life difficult as we had our nine month year old baby with us so we didn't stay out very late at all. Also the manager refused to speak to us when we complained about this. The beds are poor and make a lot of noise when you move, I also broke the bed by just sitting above one of the legs! Walls are thin too. Don't be fooled by the picture of the indoor swimming pool either, this area has been neglected by the hotel. We were so disappointed with this because we were hoping that our little girl could take a dip but it was freezing cold. Evening meal was not as good as Breakfast and the room gets very hot in the evening. I'm not sure if there is air conditioning but it certainly wasn't put on at all.

I stayed in this hotel last summer in august for one week.The location is really great,you right in front of the beach and from another side you are right on the main street with all the shops and restaurants and so on...The hotel by itself it's a bit old fashioned.It was 2 of us adults and 1 child so we had a romm with 3 beds.There wasn't much space to move around,but what do you need to do in a room in majorca?:) The room was old fashioned as well but the bathroom was new.We had a balcony with table and 2 chairs.Not great vieuw thought but we didn't mind.Housekeeping was there every day,even if we stayed in our room a bit longer they came later and cleaned.But they don't speak english,which wasn't problem.The people at the reception do speak english.There is an air condition in a room too.The food was good,not 5 star but always good choice.The waiters don't speak english except one woman which can speak the basic probably.There were not many british people.Well we did not mind,the food is buffet and to order drink is easy even if they don't speak english.So overall it was good value for money.If you are not expecting luxury but you want nice hotel with the basic rooms,great locations,good food then it is good choice.Majorca is great.
