Lido Palace - Camp de Mar, Spain     

A great 4 star hotel. Stayed for 1 week in August. Hotel was full but always enough sunbeds to go around. The whole hotel was extremely clean as was the pool and terrace. Very quiet resort which provided excellent relaxation. Make sure you take in some of the evening entertainment. Alberto on his bright red 80's style piano guitar is really worth a giggle!

I at staying at the lido palace hotel with my husband, our original hotel was over booked and the travel agents upgraded us to stay here and i was unsure as i had not looked at any reviews or found out anything about it. The food is brilliant, plenty of choice and there is always fresh fruit and salad available. Drinks are ok but obviosly not included in the half board package All the staff are so polite and friendly, which makes you feel more at home and relaxed, there are about 100 rooms so its not too overcrowded but enough for the personal touch. The rooms are very clean and the maids come in every day but will only change sheets once per week unless asked to. Air con working in rooms and the only problem we have had is that the pipe to the hairdryer was not working, we called reception and within 30 minutes someone was ther to fix it!! My only complaint is that as with everywhere unless you get up at the crack of dawn to be by the pool they are all mysteriously taken in the middle of the night by certain members of the public!!! The hotel does ask you not to though. There is a fully functioning gym and sauna also a jacuzzi which is lovely. I would really reccomend you give this hotel a try!
