Highly recommend Hostel Don Claudio

Bilbao, rather surprisingly, is a very expensive city to visit. Hostel Don Claudio is actually a bit between a hotel and a hostel--private rooms and baths are available. Most importantly, the place is very clean--although difficult to notice from the outside as it's situated in a building with other apartments and perhaps offices. Also of note, it is NOT accessable via the metro, but EASILY accessable via the train. Only a few steps from the train stop. Also, the people who run the place are very pleasant. Not much English spoken, however. Thank you, Hostel Don Claudio, for helping make my visit to Bilbao a memorable one!
