Posted: Aug 07, 2007 - crathie - We booked two twin rooms and requested a high floor - there are only 5 floors of rooms. When we arrived we were allocated two rooms on the second floor on the beach side of the hotel. The following day we requested a change of rooms and were moved to floor 5 - one room overlooking the sea and the other the mountains at the rear. These were large, light and airy rooms with terraces and were much better than the previous rooms on floor 2. The waiters were very cheerful and gave excellent service; the food was superb, there was a good choice of dishes and all were of a very high quality - its so tempting you must try everything, but beware your waistline will suffer! The bar/lounge was comfortable with some entertainment every night. The only negative is that the rooms we were in could have been modernised, but they were immaculately clean and this didn't detract from a very good holiday.. Read review
Posted: Apr 21, 2008 - Newportwizards - I booked 2 double rooms and 1 single room in the hotel but was a bit worried that not every room had a balcony. When we arrived the rooms we were given had a balcony with exception of the single room which we knew didn't have one. The rooms were very spacious including the single which I would have said was as big as the doubles. 2nd day of our holiday and I received a letter from the hotel wishing me happy birthday and a large bottle of champaigne with our evening meal that night. 30pm for evening meal otherwise if you went later you had a long wait and had to join a queue and give you room number and wait for that to be called..
