No heating in the room, room no completely clean. But competence of employees ok.

staff has little command of English language and had problems processing credit card payment - beware if paying by credit card (they kept asking for the pin number, obviously their machine was set on debit and did not know how to work it out) also the directions by train from Plaza Catalunya to the hotel (on the hotel's website) were faulty - one needs to take rail road (S1, S2) to Sarria, not 3 line (subway)to Canyelles

O hotel ? excelente, em uma regi?o tranquila. Por?m, para chegar aos pontos tur?sticos principais ? muito distante. Existem tr?s linhas de ?nibus e as esta??es de trem/ metr? s?o muito distantes. Se ficar nele, considere cerca de 30 a 40 minutos de transporte para sair do hotel e chegar ?s atra??es. Pela localiza??o distante, considerei o pre?o que pagamos alto (125 E para duas pessoas, em um fim de semana com feridado e muitas festividades). O caf? da manh? ? caro e n?o estava inclu?do. A cerca de 200 ou 300 m existem boas padarias onde pode-se tomar o caf? da manh?. Ponto positivo: acesso gratuito ? internet, em um computador desconfort?vel mas r?pido. Ele est? muito pr?ximo de hospitais. Se este for o seu destino, ?tima op??o.

Excellent small hotel with friendly staff

We had a very pleasant two night stay at the Tura de Vilana. The hotel and rooms are exceptionally stylish and clean. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to point us in the right direction for sightseeing, restaraunts, etc. The hotel is located in a quiet upscale residential area and is about a 10 minute taxi ride to the centre (La Rambla). Maybe not the best place if you want to be in the centre of the action, but great for a quiet night's sleep after a night out in Barcelona. There are two metro staions within about a 10-15 minute walk and the hotel also has a underground car park (€8,00 per night). The rate was €214 for two nights including breakfast. We would definitely go back when next in Barcelona.
